App feature of the week: Shopper Location

Knowing where the shopper is located inside the store allows you to show them the products that are both relevant and close. Since stores often have an item located in multiple areas of the store, this is very useful for the shopper.

Awareness of a shopper’s location inside the store can make offers much more effective. Since you know where they will be in the store, you can recommend not only items that they will want, but also items that are physically nearby. Keep in mind that mobile recommendations are inherently different than traditional web recommendations because the web doesn’t take physical locations into account. The best mobile apps understand this. Improve the impact of your messages every time by delivering messages, recommendations and ads related to products that are just feet away.
